Laura is a support officer within the Centre for Enterprise. She recently completed a successful £1million European project supporting students and graduates to start businesses and increase their enterprising talents. Using her experience of project management and personal experience in enterprise, she supported the team in delivering over 2000 hours of enterprise support and creating 75 new businesses.
Laura completed her BA(Hons) in Business in 2007 at Manchester Metropolitan University and re-joined the University in 2011, unable to resist the opportunity to work in an enterprising environment and work with the next generation of idea generators. Whilst returning to MMU she has increased her professional her project management skills and is now a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Outside of MMU Laura has created a number of small enterprises including digital marketing, self-designed online retail brands and a cricket blog for female fans of the game. She also designs websites and graphics in her spare time alongside running a gift stall at local and seasonal events.
