Potential Unearthed owner, Mike Ode shares insights into building trust at our latest Masterclass

The Centre for Enterprise recently hosted a Masterclass focussing on the value of trust in small businesses

The Centre for Enterprise recently hosted Mike Ode, the owner and founder of Potential Unearthed, a leading private training provider in the North West, for a Masterclass focussing on the value of trust in small businesses.

Mike began the session by first explaining the value of trust - what happens if there is a lack of trust, and how it can affect relationships between managers and their teams. The five levels of trust were discussed amongst those attending to find out what level their team was currently at, and how they could improve them.

Delegates were then split into small groups, where they were able to discuss real-life scenarios from their business of a breakdown in trust. They were encouraged to use the knowledge they gained during the Masterclass to solve these scenarios.

Business leaders, professionals and students attended the event, which provided an excellent learning and networking opportunity from a speaker who has coached across a wide range of programmes, including the Centre's very own Managers2Leaders and the fully-funded SMART Cheshire Innovation Programme.

Mike's inspiring Masterclass and interactive approach resonated with the audience, who took the opportunity to highlight their own business issues surrounding trust and find suitable solutions.
